The final conference of Igma2
Refugee Crisis and Migration Situation in Europe
The final conference of Igma2 “Refugee Crisis and Migration Situation in Europe” took place on the 9th June 2016 in Oslo, hosted by IMDi – The National Authority for Integration and Diversity in Norway. After 30 months of working together on testing the igma methodology for the inclusion of immigrants, we are celebrating great results that show that our work can have an impact beyond the partnership, helping more and more people around Europe!
The program included broad sharing of experiences from the pilot projects carried out in Sweden, Norway, Greece, and Turkey, presentation of project results, as well as putting the new methodology developed under the guidance of the Dutch Partner into the larger European context, through the highly interesting presentation of Dr. Sara Silvestri from the City University of London.
Helene Elvstrand, Philosophy Doctor at the University of Linköping and external evaluator of the project presented lessons learned in igma2. Special thanks to IMDi for the great interest shown in the project, for assisting dissemination, and for hosting the igma2 final conference!
