The program aims at uncovering new startup founders, providing specific support to women founders in the field of tech, ICT, and Digital thereby unlocking women’s potential to contribute more to innovation, economic growth, and job creation.

Women in Digital Initiatives Luxembourg Asbl is a nonprofit organization initiated in Luxembourg in 2013 and officially founded in 2014 currently acting as WIDE (Women in Digital Empowerment). WIDE´s vision is to empower women with and thanks to digital and to increase the number of women seizing the opportunities in the digital economy and society. WIDE´s mission is to offer practical support and activities to include more women and men in the field of digital and to contribute to building a more diverse workforce and a wider ICT talent pipeline for Luxembourg.

In the framework of WIDE´s Startup Leadership Program, WIDE makes a special commitment to future digital & tech entrepreneurs. 10 women will have the chance to be part of the program and get extra personalized support to turn their business idea into reality through:

• Networking opportunities
• Access to a pool of advisors and  
• Technical coaching

A pitching conference supported by Microsoft will take place the 23 September. The new program is supported by  The Ministry of Economy, BIL, Finimmo & Agile Partner.
