The Vintage project postulates that learning a language should go hand in hand with career development. In recent years, convincing results point in the direction of integrating the needs of the labor market into language learning. As a next step, the teaching of a language must be integrated into continuing education
Combining the two approaches allows for greater learner motivation and better learning.
VINTAGE is inspired by the Swiss project “Fide – learn, teach, evaluate (http://www.fide-info.ch/fr/), launched by the Federal Office for Migration – ODM with the objective of linguistic integration of migrants.
Vintage project participants have, a level of French as a foreign language A2-B1 and meet the following two profiles:
- Foreign students 28+ and part of continuing education or apprentices;
- Migrants with little or no qualifications or whose qualifications are not recognized in the French labor market.
