Women in engineering:
How has the global landscape evolved?

by Laura Varley

Pluralsight’s Faye Ellis and Rain Alliance’s Aileen Ryan discuss advanced technologies, the transformation of the workplace and how far women in engineering careers have come. This past Tuesday (23 June) was International Women in Engineering Day, which recognises the female engineers who have contributed significantly to the growth of the sector. For Faye Ellis, a principal training architect with Pluralsight, much has changed in the global engineering space since she first established herself professionally. She finds that inclusion and AI have had a lasting impact on careers in this field, leading to better opportunities and increased diversity of thought.
