ECWT and TEKNA – The Norwegian Society of Graduate Technical and Scientific Professionals collaborate since 2016 when they together organized the 1st Start Up Europe Week in Norway in February 2016 and found out that together they can support business startups in general and women in specific in a good way.

The timing for the launching of the DIGA Learning Program in Norway is really ideal as according to a recent survey 44% of the people above 55 and 39% of the people between 45-55 feel that their ICT competencies are not good enough for meeting the needs of the market! On the 3rd of August 2017, ECWT presented the outcomes of the DIGA– Digital Innovation for Growth Academy learning program for 40+ highly motivated entrepreneurship trainers and educators in Oslo.

In her welcoming presentation Eva Fabry, Director of ECWT presented the diga project, its aims and objectives, key deliverables, and expected impact. Participants were sincerely interested in the research carried out in the project and diga survey results. Following an intensive discussion about the diga research, participants were also informed about the launch of the EU´s DigiComp and Entrecomp framework in May.

Thereafter participants have presented the DIGA Learning Program´s five key modules.
At present diga resources and toolkits are available in 5 languages: Bulgarian, English, Lithuanian, Slovenian, and Spanish. Participants agreed that the DIGA toolkit is a great tool for all microenterprises for adapting to the EC´s two new framework documents: DigiComp and EntreComp and for training entrepreneurs for success.
